Having time to design new wedding stationery is often a challenge, especially if you are lucky enough (like myself) to have been busy with orders!
I started Molly Kat Designz several years ago after creating wedding invites and stationery for family and friends and wanting to turn my hobby into a small business during my spare time.
It is still very much a hobby and I love making invites which bring a smile, offer fantastic value for money and basically, feeds my hobby!
I am going to try and write a weekly blog, just because I have never done it before, I love to chat and I hope to be able to promote some of my new items as I go along.
So that's the introduction done - I can now let you know what I have been doing this week....
New informational cards to broach the sometimes awkward subject of Children at Weddings!
Children are often at home in a big family wedding and fit in with extended family helping to keep them entertained, family and friends all happy to lend a hand and make sure little ones don't get over tired, over excited or just plain bored.
But what if you want to either limit the number of children at your wedding or you want no children to attend at all - how do you let your guests know and not offend anyone?
I have designed a variety of cards requesting
- full on adult only weddings,
- close family children only
- no children after 7 or 8pm
I think it is important that you have your wedding your way and this can be done in a friendly way as long as you give your guests plenty of notice so they can respectfully decline or arrange a baby sitter.
You never know, some guests may be keeping their fingers crossed for a child free couple of hours too!
